Lausane, Switzerland (GenevaLunch) - Lausanne was the place to be in the Lake Geneva area this past weekend, with 280,000 people attending the 100-plus free concerts given as part of Label Suisse, organized by public radio RSR.
And 160,000 people rode the new M2 metro system, which went into operation 18 September. According to swissinfo, the number of visitors to the Comptoir Suisse commercial fair was well up over previous years, thanks to the crowds in the city.
