Vevey, Switzerland (GenevaLunch) - The world’s largest food and drink company, Switzerland-based Nestlé has announced increased sales and has upped its 2008 outlook for organic growth.

Consolidated sales for the first nine months of the year amounted to 81 billion francs, an increase of 3.4% over the same time period last year. The food and beverage division drove the high sales. The food giant has repeatedly increased its food prices in Europe differentiating its brand from cheaper, generic supermarket alternatives.
