(GenevaLunch) - It was a weekend when records were made and broken.

Liverpool won at Stamford Bridge to end Chelsea’s 86 game unbeaten record at home. Liverpool also moved into top place in the Premier League. Hull City continued their amazing start to the season with a 0-3 win over West Brom and are now third in the League, equal on points with Chelsea, after the best start to a season by a newly promoted club for over a century.

Spurs sacked their Spanish manager Juande Ramos and appointed Harry Redknapp to replace him at midnight on Saturday, reportedly paying £5million to Portsmouth as compensation. The team responded to their new boss with the first win of the season, 2-0 over Bolton. Man City beat Stoke 3-0 with a hat-trick by Robinho while Man United could only manage 1-1 away to Everton.
