vaccine_day08.jpgSwitzerland (GenevaLunch) - National flu vaccine day in Switzerland is 7 November, a day marked by vaccinations being offered free of charge in many doctor’s offices, with no advance appointment necessary.

The health department recommends that people at risk be vaccinated: those with chronic diseases, people over age 65 and anyone working in healthcare.

Starting in October you can follow the progression of the year’s seasonal flu cases on a surveillance map regularly updated by the federal health department.
