Zurich, Switzerland (Tribune de Geneve/ats, Fre) - A 16-year-old who killed an 18-year-old during the Street Parade in Zurich in 2007 has been sentenced to four years without possibility of parole in the juvenile detention centre where he has been held since his arrest.

The older youth was stabbed to death after he tried to defend his girlfriend, who had been approached by the younger one. The youth who has been sentenced had earlier participated in several smaller crimes, including a series of thefts as part of a gang in Zurich, and another knife attack.
