(GenevaLunch) - Wales failed to make the most of a rare chance to beat the Springboks. South Africa have lost only once, in 1999.
The Springboks went ahead in the first ten minutes and moved into a 17-point lead before they went into defensive mode and nearly let the Welsh take it. The final score was Wales15-20 South Africa. Australia beat Italy 20-30, while New Zealand put up a reserve team but still cruised past Scotland 6-32. Ireland thumped Canada 55-0.
