Update 15:30  France (Le Temps, Fre) - St Prex, Vaud, sailor Bernard Stamm, who hit a Maltese fishing vessel late Sunday night, not long after the Vendee Globe round the world race began, was hoping to rejoin the race today, following repairs to his boat, but learned earlier Wednesday that repairs will delay him until Wednesday.
