Update 13:18 Viege/Visp, Valais, Switzerland (GenevaLunch) – A Cisalpino train broke down the Loetschberg tunnel Monday morning, and the tunnel is closed temporarily with Le Nouvelliste reporting that the train will need to be towed. The breakdown is causing serious delays, reports the Valais newspaper.
Passengers had to leave the train to take another one brought from Spiez, while a train coming in the opposite direction, from Viege/Visp, was obliged to back out of the tunnel.
