Geneva, Switzerland (Tribune de Geneve) – A security guard’s German shepherd attacked a small 18-month-old dog near Plainpalais Saturday and mauled it. The smaller dog had to be put down two hours later and its owner, who was slightly injured during the attack, is pressing charges against the larger dog’s owner.
The German shepherd was not known to be aggressive and its owner, who has been trained to work with security dogs and has 20 years experience of using them professionally. According to the Tribune there is no information about whether the larger dog has also been put down.
