Sion, Switzerland (GenevaLunch.com) – Police in canton Valais have confirmed Swiss media reports that a 12-year-old appears to have sexually abused two others of the same age in a boys’ dormitory at a summer camp in Vercorin, above Sierre.
The three were part of a group of about 100 children from the Bernese Jura area who were at the camp; the alleged aggressor and one of his victims have left and the other victim will leave before the week is over. The children at the camp are receiving counseling.
The incident took place Saturday night in a dorm room for a dozen boys, but no further details are available, with the case turned over to an investigating magistrate.
