LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND – A 50-year-old woman was killed Tuesday 29 May as she was walking along the road from St-Légier to La Tour-de-Peilz when a car heading in the same direction hit her. The 97-year-old driver of the car stopped immediately to offer help, but the woman had been killed instantly.
The accident occurred shortly after 16:00 Tuesday.
