LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND – A seven-year-old Vaud girl was found dead in her bed with her semi-conscious father next to her, by police in Loèche-les-bains, canton Valais, late Sunday 3 June. They were contacted at 23:30 Sunday by the mother of the girl who said her child and husband had not returned from a weekend in the Valais resort.
Police have opened an investigation to determine the cause of death of the girl and of her father’s state; he was hospitalized but his life is not in danger.
