GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – Swiss customs officials are cautioning motorists to avoid the Bardonnex border area Monday 11 June due to a sit-in by citoyens de la Savoie, a French protest group that has set up tents and barbecues at the A40 autoroute French border exit.
The group began their protest Sunday afternoon and they have not set a time for stopping the road blockage.
Swiss customs says traffic is expected to be disrupted for an “indeterminate” period of time.
