GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – US cyclist Lance Armstrong, currently training in the south of France, has been told he cannot take part in the French Ironman race in 10 days, as planned, after the USADA (Anti-Doping Agency) reportedly opened its own investigation against Armstrong. US federal prosecutors dropped their investigation in February.
If found guilty Armstrong would be stripped of his seven Tour de France titles. He has been recreating himself as a triathlete since he left cycling.
