Wimbledon Tennis: Federer to face Murray in historic final

WIMBLEDON, ENGLAND – Roger Federer was back in form as he beat top seed Novak Djokovic in the first semi-final at Wimbledon, 6 July. The Swiss dominated the match to win 6-3 3-6 6-4 6-3 and the Serb was frequently struggling to keep up.

If Federer wins the final on Sunday he will regain the ATP top ranking and beat the record of Pete Sampras for the most weeks at the top.

Andy Murray made a few records of his own by beating Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-3 6-4 4-6 7-5 to become the first Briton since 1938 to reach the Wimbledon final.
