GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – Remarks by US politician Todd Akin to the effect that a “legitimate rape” won’t end in pregnancy are provoking an outcry from several corners that nearly two days later just won’t go away. The Missouri Republican candidate for the US Senate has apologized for his remarks, but several of his fellow Republicans are calling for him to quit the race.
