ZURICH, SWITZERLAND – Bank Julius Baer has confirmed rumours circulating for nearly a week, and reports in Swiss-German media Sunday, that data about German customers’ accounts was stolen by a former employee.
The bank says it has contacted the clients whose accounts were part of the theft and that the former staff member has been arrested, reports Bloomberg.
