
Swiss planes are not affected by the Lufthansa strike and the company is reportedly seeing if it can add capacity Tuesday
GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – A series of strikes that began Friday 31 August has resulted in some Frankfurt-Geneva Lufthansa flights being canceled Tuesday morning, and Frankfurt airport is expected to experience disruptions throughout the day.
Flights on Swiss are not affected by the industrial action, started by Lufthansa staff over a breakdown in salary and work conditions negotiations. Tegel airport in Berlin and Munich airport are also affected.
