GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – A 78-year-old local man who was crossing an area closed to the public near Zermatt’s Furri cablecar in canton Valais was hit in the head by one of the cars Thursday 6 September at 13:30. Police say he died of his injuries Friday, in hospital.
It’s unclear what the man was doing in the area.
