Three hikers found by Air Force Super Puma’s FLIR thermal camera in Glarus

ZURICH, SWITZERLAND – Three hikers who were declared missing were found in the early hours of Monday by a Swiss Air Force Super Puma helicopter, using its FLIR thermal camera.

The three went missing in canton Glarus and at 22:00 the Swiss Alpine Club, via the Rega rescue system, asked the Air Force for its help.

The hikers were found near Limmerensee – Selbsanft at the Puma was back at its base shortly after 03:15.
