Geneva police nab man at border with 1.75kg of heroin

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – A 22-year-old Albanian man was stopped in Pregny-Chambésy Tuesday afternoon 12 September with 1.75kg of heroin that he later told police he was to deliver to a place near the United Nations. He ran when he realized police were after him, say Geneva police, and once near a bus stop he dropped a bag holding most of the drugs, but he was caught shortly afterwards.

He was arrested in 2011 on drug charges.
