GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – The family of a Kent, England man who has Down’s syndrome is suing a National Health System (NHS) hospital in Kent after they discovered a form showing that a doctor there had issued a “do not resuscitate” order for him, the Guardian reports. “The form, which said the decision should remain in force indefinitely, showed the doctor concerned had no discussion with the patient because the patient did not have mental capacity, said the lawyers.”
