The ostrich pillow, of lightweight synthetic materials, for power napping
LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND – Peripatetic designers Key Portilla-Kawamura and Ali Ganjavian, who call Lausanne one of their home bases, have been getting attention for some time for their “ostrich pillow”, supported by Studio Banana Things, which allows you to hide your head and hands from the world and dream away, for example while on an airplane.
The two are now taking their idea to the next stage, seeking funding on Kickstarter, looking for $70,000 by 18 October to be able to mass produce and zzzz … distribute the … zzzzzz.
