LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND – The driver of a Lausanne tram was sent to the Chuv university hospitals with injuries after his tram went through the security barrier at Maladière and ended partially hanging over an open space. The cause of the accident is not yet known. Traffic on lines 1 and 6 have been disrupted and the stop at Maladière has been moved to Montoie.
