Swiss car show makes significant shift to bigger Internet presence
GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – Tickets to the 2013 Geneva Motor Show have gone on sale, on line, as part of the car show’s shift to a heavier Internet presence this year.
The show runs from 7-17 March 2013 and the organizers expect more than 100,000 visitors again this year.
The car show’s emphasis on greener approaches to auto transport are underscored by the sponsorship of its new web site by Natural gas biogas, and by the success of the show’s efforts to encourage more visitors to come by train.
The CFF rail company is increasing capacity this year, with 110 special trains (143,000 seats) added for travellers to Palexpo in Geneva, compared to 136,000 special seats in 2012.
The CFF and TPG, Geneva’s public transport company, are both offering combined transport plus entry tickets.
If you’re looking to visit the car show inexpensively, another option is the 50 percent reduction starting at the Palexpo ticket counters at 16:00 daily.
