LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND – The 41-year-old Swiss man who was in an accident Saturday morning on the A1, between Morges and Aubonne, died Monday night 4 March in hospital, Vaud police say.
The man was heading in the direction of Geneva when he lost control of his blue Chrysler Voyager, at about 07:30, say police. The car veered to the left and his the central divider, then to the right, crossing both lanes of traffic before rolling several times and finally hitting a barrier. The man, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the car. He was treated at the scene by ambulance workers then taken by helicopter to the Chuv university hospitals in Lausanne.
