LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND – GenevaLunch is proud to present: the first video reviews of Swiss wines! I’m part of a three-language team, under the aegis of romanduvin.ch, which is starting a series of professional, independent reviews of Swiss wines by wine journalists, in video format. We did our first series last month, and I’ll be posting the English language versions here, with links to the other two languages. Our reviews vary slightly because each of us gives our judgement separately, so if you speak French or German you might enjoy viewing the differences.

Gabriel Tingueley of Weinlandschweiz reviews the wines in German and Laurent Probst, who runs the blog Vins-Confédérés reviews them in French. The reviews are organized by wine journalist Alexandre Truffer of online wine magazine romanduvin.ch
Our goal is to provide you with reviews from wine experts that give you, as a consumer, a helpful idea of what to expect from good Swiss wines (and there are many): what a wine is like visually, the nose, in mouth. The videos are about 30 seconds each.
The first ones were our trial videos, so bear with us: we’re already improving our presentations and small technical issues as we prepare to film a new and longer series later in June.
I hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed tasting the wines and filming!
