Bern, Switzerland (Le Matin/ats, Fre) – Swiss federal government employees are now able to continue working until age 70 if they choose to, as part of the flexible retirement system approved at the end of 2006. By mid-June the Federal Council is expected to rule by mid-June on the details of retirement benefit packages under the new system.
