Zurich, Switzerland (TSR, Fre) – The 19 former directors and administrators of Swissair, which folded in 2001, were acquitted of wrongdoing Thursday morning. The court has also awarded them SFr3 million in damages, which will be paid by taxpayers, with SFr500,000 going to Mario Corti alone. Corti, the last CEO of the company, was the main defendant.
