Valencia, Spain and Geneva, Switzerland (Guardian, UK and romandie/ats, Fre) – Four challengers have signed up for the next America’s Cup sailing race in 2009 in Spain, but others, such as the Swedish team, are playing a wait and see game over the rules. Oracle, which a few days ago hired America’s Cup star from earlier races, Russell Couts (who lives in the Lake Geneva region) if fighting Alinghi over rules changes with arguments that the Swiss-based Alinghi rejects.
