Neuchatel, Switzerland (GenevaLunch) – Visitors to Switzerland in July 2007 were up by 6.9% over a year earlier, with foreign tourists driving the increase. The number of visitors from Europe, excluding the Swiss, rose 8.1%, with Asians up 3.7% and tourists from the Americas up 1.2%. The figures are part of provisional numbers published by the Swiss Statistical Office.
