Lausanne, Switzerland (TSR, Fre) – Cantonal justice officials in Geneva have reportedly confirmed that the Catholic archdiocese of Geneva-Lausanne-Fribourg in the past few days wrote to them with details of a new case of suspected pedophile crime by a priest in the canton. The archdiocese says it sent a report to police in Fribourg of another new case. The archdiocese last week began to actively encourage people to report past cases of criminal behaviour on the part of priests.
