Lausanne, Switzerland (Le Temps, Fre) – The Swiss high court has ruled that begging is not a right and that cantonal laws against it are reasonable in the interest of public safety and "tranquility." A case against Geneva’s laws ruling out begging was brought by Mesemrom, a group representing Roms’ rights in Switzerland. WRS and Le Courrier on Mesemrom reactions.
