Germany (romandie/afp, Fre) – A strike that began Monday night at Lufthansa resulted in 70 flights being canceled Tuesday, mainly due to the absence of technical staff who are needed for maintenance work. The indefinite strike is mainly over pay issues. The canceled flights are within Germany, but several are for legs of European flights.
