1 The bouquet, somewhat sweet, is complex, with a nose that is initially spicy followed by notes of fruit drops, dry herbs, rhubarb, goosberry, pineapple and citrus fruits. In the mouth this is a very elegant wine with good presence, with a hint of sweetness. An excellent wine! Best drunk before 2010.

Siblinger Riesling-Sylvaner

2 The nose at first calls up a clearly present fruitiness, followed by more subtle notes of yeast, mandarins and touches of this terroir. In the mouth this is a very well balanced wine: perfectly poised between vinosity and elegance, richness and delicacy.
A truly love wine. Best drunk before 2010.

Riesling-Sylvaner Flaesch

3 This is a Mueller-Thurgau that develops a powerful and complex bouquet where you can expect to find herbs, leaves, nutmeg and notes of yeast and pumpkin. In mouth the attack is full. The body develops very pleasantly and the finish, or after-taste, has real character.
Best drunk by 2012.

RAECHEDORN RIESLING-SYLVANER
Schachenmann AG

Nutmeg and floral, typical Mueller-Thurgau notes, for the nose, but with hints of fruit and fruitpits. In mouth: great body and a clearly present bubbliness. While it is aromatic, at the same time there are woody notes that, added to the fragrances found by the nose, create a very pleasant mix. Best drunk before 2011.

NUSSBAUMER
Weingut Saxer
8537, Nussbaumen, Stammheinerstrasse 9
+41 52 745 2351, info@saxer-weine.ch
This is a discreet wine, with a bouquet of mainly peach and pear. As it opens, there are also notes of aromatic herbs such as mint and common balm. In mouth the excellent structure could be said to be three-dimensional. This wine is at its peak right now: best drunk by 2009.

RIESLING-SYLVANER REGENSBERG
Zweifel & Co., AG, Urs Zweifel
8049 Zurich, Regensdorferstrasse 20
+41 44 344 2211,
info@zweifelweine.ch

This is an atypical Mueller-Thurgau, with a nose that is predominantly floral, where magnolia and elderberry flower come together. On the palate, this comes together for a pleasant and well-balanced ensemble. The lovely vinosity does not prevent the wine from sliding down the throat nicely, elegantly. Best drunk before 2010.
