Romanel-sur-Morges, Switzerland (GenevaLunch) – A billion computer users today, another billion by 2014 and Logitech ships its billionth mouse. The mouse is the offspring of the first mice, which were created in the 1980s by the company that had its start near Lausanne, Switzerland.
In celebration of its billionth mouse, Logitech is launching a worldwide contest that invites people to follow the mouse’s travels, to be chronicled on Logitech’s blog (ed. note: it doesn’t appear to have started its journey yet, but the 40th anniversary celebrations are 10 December).
