Lausanne, Switzerland (TSR, Fre) – A Swiss woman who married four men in the same small Kosovo village, giving them Swiss citizenship in the process, is part of a mariage blanc illegal marriages scam, in the eyes of the Swiss federal court. She came under suspicion when she tried to bring into Switzerland several members of her extended family.
One of the men had his Swiss passport taken back by Lucerne authorities in 2005 after he returned to Switzerland with another wife and children. The high court heard his case in December and upheld the Lucerne court decision, the Federal Tribunal announced Wednesday.
