Public health experts and researchers are trying to work out how to contain in Cambodia and Thailand a form of the parasite that causes malaria which now appears to be showing signs of resistance to artemisinin, the “best new drug” against the disease that kilss 2,000 children in Africa daily, reports the International Herald Tribune.
