The Vaccine Court in the US, which hears cases and makes awards to children damaged by vaccines, has ruled in ” three test cases representing thousand of other petitioners” that the children’s autism was not caused by the measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) vaccinations they received. Specifically, the Special Master (judges are not used by the court) George Hastings, a former tax claims expert for the US Justice Department, said “The evidence does not support the general proposition that thimerosal-containing vaccines can damage infants’ immune systems,” Hastings wrote, after reviewing tens of thousands of documents and hours of oral arguments.” Reuters Background story, David Kirby, Huffington Post Feb 2008
