Geneva, Switzerland (GenevaLunch) – Hillary Clinton, US Secretary of State, commented following talks with European Union leaders in Brussels that while there will be differences between the US and Russia, “On so many important matters that confront us, we think that the United States and the EU and Russia can be partners.” Clinton meets Friday evening in Geneva with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, immediately after meeting with Swiss Foreign Minister Micheline Calmy-Rey. Switzerland this week began offering its good offices to Georgia and Russia, representing each to the other, an arrangement negotiated in November 2008.
