Versoix Chocolate Festival 2009

Chocolate train: 6,000 riders Saturday in Versoix

Versoix, Switzerland (GenevaLunch) – There is no holding back chocolate-lovers: some 20,000 people are estimated by police and organizers to have visited Versoix Saturday for the fifth annual chocolate festival, despite weather that was miserably cold and rainy. The tent was crowded, and most stands offered already-made chocolate, but some of the chocolatiers were turning out Easter rabbits and chickens, to the delight of the crowd.
