The policeman behind the famous Nightjack blog was denied continued anonymity by a high court ruling in Great Britain 16 June. Nightjack blogged on police work and society, and was awarded the Orwell Prize for political writing in April. The blogger often used real cases to illustrate his points. A Times reporter tracked him down and published his name. He argued in court that revealing his identity may get him into trouble with his superiors. His blog at WordPress, a popular blogging site, has been deleted. He has migrated to technorati. BBC , Times
