Lake Geneva region, Switzerland (GenevaLunch) - A helicopter with seven people on board crashed Saturday evening 20 June in the French department of Ain, near Chambéry.
The helicopter was transporting park employees from Walibi des Avenières, a nearby amusement park, when it tried to land in a clearing near the village of Brégnier-Cordon. Police have opened an investigation.
Three young people returning from a night out in Annecy, France died early Sunday morning 21 June when the speed boat they were riding in crashed into rocks on the edge of Lake Annecy. Two others were hospitalized in Annecy.
