Edgebaston, Birmingham, UK (GenevaLunch) – The third Test drifted to a draw as the Australian batsmen put on a solid display to end any English hopes of victory.
Michael Clarke ended with an unbeaten century while Marcus North was caught when he had made 96. The Australians ended on 375 for 5 so England did not bat again. Michael Clarke was awarded the man of the match award for his century, which was helped by surviving being caught off a no-ball and a ball brushing the stumps without dislodging the bails.
