Category four hurricane Bill is currently east of the Caribbean and heading northwest on a path that will take it between the US mainland and the island of Bermuda. Computerized weather models expect the storm to maintain its strength and to continue north at 30 km/hour broadly parallel to the eastern seaboard until it hits the eastern Canadian coast sometime next week. As it passes west of Bermuda, it will likely lash the island and the US coast with rain and strong winds of up to 110km/hour, even though this is almost 400km from its centre. At its centre, top winds could reach 210km/hour. NOAA , Reuters
