Nyon, Switzerland (GenevaLunch) – The Plaine de l’Asse, near where the Paléo hosts its music festival in summer, is to be the scene of an airplane crash simulation on the night of 25-26 November, reports 20Minutes 22 November.
The simulation is to test emergency services’ response to a potential air disaster and will involve 870 people. It is the biggest such simulation in Switzerland to date, and planning has been going on for a year. The last such simulation took place at Geneva’s airport in 2006.
