At least a dozen people are reported dead, and several more injured after Christian and Muslim youths clashed in Plateau State’s capital Jos, northern Nigeria. The clashes took place 16 and 17 January and began as Christian youths set upon a Muslim man rebuilding his house that was destroyed in a mainly Christian district following sectarian clashes in 2008. The violence spread to other parts of the city, and local authorities imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew and called for reinforcements.
“I can’t give any casualty details because we are still awaiting a comprehensive report on the violence,” Gregory Yenlong, state information commissioner told AFP. “The government has placed a 12-hour curfew, from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, on the city following some violence in Nassarawa Gwom district of the city,” he said.
A police spokesman confirmed that 35 people had been arrested, “including five in military uniforms.”

This conflict is not limited to Africa, nor Asia, it is also going to be a violent reality in Europe’s near future. I believe in Jesus Christ and prefer a Christiain based society myself. Islam cannot live side by side anyone else, reguardless of who ‘the other’ may be. Wake up Europe, towns like Jos (Jesus Our Saviour – that is the towns reall name) that are currently burning are the future’s of London, Paris, Rotterdam, Malmo, Amsterdam, Marsellie, Frankfurt, Berlin, Oslo, etc…
