Islamabad, Pakistan (GenevaLunch) - Two former captains of the Pakistan cricket team, Younus Khan and Mohammad Yousuf, have been banned indefinitely from playing on the team after they put in a series of poor performances that officials blame on a feud. An investigating committee recommended to the Pakistan Cricket Board that the two be banned and the Board, citing the “dismal tour of Australia 2009-10″, has accepted their recommendation.
During a December to Frebruary 2010 tour the team lost a Test series 3-0, the one-day matches 5-0 and the only Twenty20 match they played.
Khan retired from the captaincy in September 2009 saying he needed to rest and Yousuf took his place, but was accused of failing to keep the team in order. The team’s manager during the tour, Abdul Raquid, has questioned the life ban on Khan, saying he was a victim of a conspiracy.
Another player, Shahid Afridi, was earlier handed a two match Twenty20 ban for ball tampering after he was spotted on TV biting the ball. The PCB fined him, saying it will monitor his play and called his behaviour “shameful”.

Self appointed committee by the Board President, biased decision based on wrong motives, wrong and contradictory statements by the board about the bans, no definitive proof what was the wrong doing by the players. No explanation of what the players actually did wrong. Moreover no public announcement of what the players actually did wrong.
Let me tell you legally the Board is bound to lose this case against the players and eventually they cannot save their own skin for which these bans have been issued. The Board was totally responsible for the loses, you cannot blame the foot soldiers for a defeat in strategy and bad decision to appoint the worst captain in the history of Pakistan-Mohammad Yosuf by the Board`s own bad decisions.

It is good! That the board have punished all players!! But according to my view! Yousaf and younis should not be baned for life!! It is extreme of punishment!! Board should consider that there is no more option in replacement of Yousaf and Younas! I personally dont like Younas! But Yousaf is heart favret of every one!! We donot watch any other player who can fill this gap! If younas dropes than Yousaf can manage!! But if Yousaf dropes than we think that umar akmal(who is also involved in a dispute) and misbah-ul-haq(who is unable to perform consistantly) can mange??? No they far away from this dignity! So board should think again groping both captain!!
Thanks
