Margaret Moth, a camerawoman for CNN, has died, age 59, after a three-year fight with colon cancer. Moth was a legend among journalists for her fearless courage behind a camera in war zones, her contribution to recording contemporary history, and the passion with which she embraced life. CNN’s tribute to her is long: it could not have been shorter and done justice to the woman who told a CNN documentary crew a year ago, laughing, “‘Dying of cancer, I would have liked to think I’d have gone out with a bit more flair. The important thing is to know that you’ve lived your life to the fullest.’”
