London, England James Murdoch, son of Rupert, the boss of News International announced that the News of the World, the best selling Sunday newspaper in England, will cease publication following the next edition. The tabloid paper has been attacked in a phone hacking scandal which has spread from sports stars and celebrities, to criminal investigations, and finally to allegations of hacking into the phones of families of soldiers killed in Afghanistan. There are also many reports of payments to the police.
